ISTD MODERN & JAZZ EXAMS

 

After a full day of Modern and Jazz exams on 8th December pupils hard work was rewarded with another excellent set of exam results! Well done to everyone who took part - all pupils passed with Merit or Distinction.

EXAM SUCCESS

 

Well done to those pupils  who recently took ISTD Ballet exams in Bristol!!

 

Holly Sage, Aime Maidment, Hattie Shillito, Tori Evans and Arabella Edwards all  passed Grade 1 Imperial Ballet with Distinction

 

Jemima Jenvey, Zoe Horler and Emilie Shillito passed Grade 3 with Merit

 

Ceara Hoggett, Lauren Wittleton and Rachel Lynch passed Grade 5 with Distinction

Exam Success

Congratulations to pupils who took ISTD Ballet examinations this summer! We received a 100% pass rate with the majority of pupils gaining a Merit or Distinction for their Grade 1, 3, and 4 Imperial Ballet exams

Student success - August 2012

Senior student Ceara Hoggett auditoned for, and has been accepted as an associate of Ballet Cymru. Ceara will study with the company every month at the Riverside Theatre and Arts Centre in Newport, Wales. Well done Ceara, we are very proud of your hard work and excited for you! 

Charity Show

After our successful show in December we are pleased to announce that we raised £611.00. 


All proceeds went to local charity Martha Care Trust, which will help to support the families of sick and injured children in hospital.

Pupils will be putting on a show at Edgar Hall in Somerton on saturday 17th December from 7.30pm...

Showcasing pieces from our show in June and also new numbers including dances choreographed by the pupils themselves, it is sure to be a fantastic night!

All proceeds will go to the Martha Care Trust so please come and support us...

Annie at Strode Theatre - 15-10-08

Congratulations to Lauren Wittleton, Chloe Sage, and Maisey Durston, pupils from The Glastonbury School of Performing Arts, who successfully auditioned for parts in the musical Annie. The girls will be playing parts of orphans in the show which will be on in April next year at Strode Theatre in Street. Well done to you all!!!
